ASD Inc. announced today that it has promoted Bob Faus to Vice President – Engineering, and Tom Brown to Vice President – Sales and Channel Management. Both positions are the first Vice President positions in ASD’s history.
Bob Faus has been with ASD Inc. for over 10 years serving as the Director of Engineering. Under Mr. Faus’ leadership, ASD has introduced a record number of new products for a wide variety of new markets. His engineering experience spans over 25 years at distinguished companies such as Pfizer–Valleylab Inc., Ball Aerospace Corp, and NBI Inc., where he held a number of positions of progressive responsibility. Mr. Faus holds five patents and a BSEE from Kansas State University, and is a registered PE.
Tom Brown has been with ASD Inc. for over four years serving as Director of Sales and Marketing. During that time period Mr. Brown has been instrumental in the significant expansion of ASD’s sales channels and in directing selling efforts which have resulted in consistent double digit growth. Prior to ASD, Mr. Brown spent 23 years with Perkin-Elmer, a $1.5 billion world leader of analytical instrumentation used in drug discovery, genetic screening, and chemical analysis, where he held a number of national, regional, and territory sales management positions, including the position of Director of North American Sales and Service. Mr. Brown holds a BS in Biology/Chemistry/Math from the University of Wisconsin, and a Masters Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Washington.
