Analytical Spectral Devices Inc., dba “ASD Inc.” (ASD), is a privately held company in business since 1990. ASD designs, manufactures, and sells Near-Infrared (NIR) instruments and applications expertise for use in materials measurement and research, and has grown organically into one of the premier NIR instrumentation companies in the world. ASD is truly an international company, with 70% of sales outside the U.S., and its instruments in use in more than 50 countries, and on every continent.

ASD focuses on process control and portable instrumentation for various industries, as well as research programs at university and government institutions. The company participates in a number of industries, but most notably in precious metal mining, mineral processing, pulp and paper, meat processing, agriculture, earth sciences, biofuels, and remote sensing.
