FORMAT GUIDELINES
Please use the following format for your proposal to ensure standardized content and simplify evaluation by the review team. Proposals should fit within two printed pages (minimum 10 pt. font size) and may include anything you think strengthens your proposal. If requesting the 350-2500 nm FieldSpec® 3, you must justify the requirement. A graphic may also be included if it clarifies your proposed research. Please submit your proposal by October 15, 2008.
No more than one submission per researcher will be considered. Upon submitting this application, you will receive an e-mail confirming its receipt within one week. Proposal headings should include the following:
- Project Title
- Investigator(s)
- Email contact and phone info
- Program (accredited) name and location
- Instrument requested (please justify FieldSpec® 3 requirement if requesting)
- Requested dates/season (please include explanation of time-frame requirement)
- Objective(s)
- Background
- Why is this important?
- What makes this innovative?
- How might this be interdisciplinary?
- Research Plan
- Expected outcome and impact
