NIR is now the standard for analysis of liquid resins by the American Society for Testing of Materials (ASTM), an accepted general method by both US and European Pharmacopoeias, and accepted as an alternative method for specific industrial applications by the US FDA, Canadian HPB, European EMEA, British MCA, and Australian TGA.

The use of ASD Vis/NIR analyzers and software offers the ability to meet regulatory requirements set under 21 CFR Parts 11, 111, 112 and USP 1119 regulations by providing validatable, qualitative and quantitative testing procedures. ASD instruments are CE certified.
