What is Raman Scattering?
What is Raman Scattering?
ANSWER:
One form of inelastic scattering. If the incident illumination is strongly polarized, the resulting Raman energy will also be strongly polarized. The sum of the energies of Raman photons is usually thousands of times less than the sum of the energies of fluorescing photons.
