The RxSpec 700z uses an NIR spectrometer to quickly and simultaneously analyze the entire contents of the sample. The device’s wide spectral range (350-2500 nm) allows users to accurately measure not only the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API), but all the other pill contents as well, including binders, colorants, and excipients. Other technologies cannot match the complete measurement capabilities of the RxSpec 700z and will not be able to provide a comprehensive analysis.
