Improve Process Control and
Increase Profitability!
On-line
Accurate
Real-Time
In today’s highly competitive environment, cost control and superior product quality are essential. Dynea and ASD are pleased to offer the QualitySpec® OSB analyzer — the competitive advantage for staying ahead of the pack!
Mounted down-stream of the blenders or formers, the QualitySpec® OSB uses reflected light for real-time measurement of the resin, wax, and moisture concentrations on woodchips. ASD’s proprietary software, Indico™ iP, offers a powerful and user-friendly platform for establishing process set points, making changes as product configurations change, storing and displaying data, and creating reports including:
Windows® style set-up menus
Automated calibrations
Modular component design
Remote monitoring capabilities
Internal instrument diagnostics
QualitySpec® OSB provides all of the power of Near-Infrared (NIR) reflectance technology in a package that works seamlessly in the plant. NIR, a rapid, precise, non-contact and non-destructive technology, has been used for years in the lab. With QualitySpec® OSB, Dynea and ASD have now taken this powerful technology out of the lab, and onto the OSB process line. The flexible and modular design of QualitySpec® OSB allows for integration where it most benefits the process.
The QualitySpec® OSB enables production of superior end product while better containing costs, thereby increasing the bottom line. Controlling the resin, wax, and moisture content of wood chips ensures that product is more consistent, resulting in improved process efficiency, and reduced scrap and down grades.
With the instrument housed in a NEMA 4X (IP-65) rated enclosure ready to handle
the plant environment, and a user-friendly operating system, QualitySpec® OSB
is just the advantage you need to out-perform the competition!
