Users are no longer confined to the lab and traditional time-consuming and costly methods of testing — they are taking cost-effective advanced measurement capability to the sample, regardless of the environment. Online, on board airplanes, sharing them between facilities and even developing many new and exciting applications. Scientists, researchers, and technicians at governmental agencies, universities, research institutions, and manufacturers alike, from all over the world, with all sorts of varying applications, are experiencing the advantages of portable near infrared (NIR) precision instrumentation. And new and exciting applications for portable spectrometry are being discovered every day.
