Annual Maintenance and Warranties
ASD recommends that the instrument be serviced once a year. This will ensure the proper functioning of the instrument. Annual maintenance is covered under the ASD warranty or the extended warranty.
Is your instrument out of warranty, or do you need to renew one soon? Check into an extended warranty. For a minimal price, an extended warranty will cover potentially costly repairs to your valuable instrument. Even if you no longer have a warranty, you may have the option to renew after a brief instrument review by our tech support team.
You can purchase annual maintenance separately. To purchase an annual maintenance or extended warranty, contact your sales representative.

Performance Checks
Make sure your ASD spectrometer is performing at its best. Schedule an instrument performance check with ASD’s highly experienced technical support team. For a small fee, ASD spectrometer experts will conduct a full performance check on your instrument

Gratings check in all three regions

Software upgrade to the latest version
You can also add a radiometric calibration to your performance check for an additional fee.
Returning the Instrument for Service
To return the instrument to ASD for maintenance or repair, contact ASD technical support for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). The RMA includes scheduling details, contact information, shipping instructions, and a brief description of the maintenance or repair requirements.
