LICA will sell the company’s lines of portable, rugged spectrometers to university programs and institutes conducting a variety of research projects in water studies, ecology, and geology. ASD’s instrumentation products remain the top choice for researchers working in the field or in the lab.
“Our customers are delighted to have access to ASD’s leading remote sensing instruments, as well as the technical support we can provide,” said Li Xiaobo, president of LICA. “We look forward to a long-term relationship with ASD, working together to provide superior customer service and the most advanced technologies.”
Founded in 2005, LICA is the foremost distributor of scientific remote sensing instrumentation to ecology, environmental science, agriculture, forestry and geology markets in China.
LICA holds seminars and training workshops for their customers throughout the year to ensure full understanding of the instruments and their corresponding accessories. This level of customer attention is one of the main reasons ASD chose to partner with LICA, whose dedication to excellent technical support and customer service aligns with ASD’s. LICA is able to provide enhanced technical support by offering repairs in the region instead of shipping instruments overseas.
“LICA is an important addition to our reseller network in Asia,” said Michael Lands, vice president of sales and marketing, NIR. “The company’s employees are dedicated to understanding the needs of their customers and directing them to the best instrument for their application. We’re excited to work with their team toward our aligned business goals.”
